Things are picking up a bit, I’ve got work starting to come in and therefor monies and I’m actually enjoying being self-employed and not dreading getting up every day. Plus I get the awesome bonus of being able to take a day off in the week to go hang out in town with friends (as I did on Thursday)!

Although I’m not loving the having to watch the cash-flow situation I’ve got going on at the moment. I’m still not in the clear as although I can invoice for work, I can’t grantee I’ll be paid by any particular date, and even then I need to make sure I keep some money locked away for the dreaded tax return and thus huge tax/student loan bill that will need to be paid all in one go.

That being said, I’m still able to afford stuff, and looking forward to splurging a bit in London this weekend as I’m not going to get a proper holiday this year, and possibly not next either.

Went into Birmingham on Thursday and Saturday last week (once with Martha, once with my mother) saw the most amazing shoes ever, but £55 - way too extravagant for one purchase. maybe I’ll put them on some kind of Christmas wish list in my mind.

I have a stupid amount of things to do this week and I go away Friday, which means one less day to do them. Going to get a hair cut on Thursday at 1 so at least that’s one thing arranged.

Wow, this is really disorganized, haha. Well, to sum up - life is picking up, and I’m probably a little bit too excited about the weekend :-)
